north gate shoal

the north gate shoal sculpture is now suspended from the roof in the new northampton bus interchange. the stainless steel form draws inspiration from local history of the site as a fish market its and use today as a busy transport hub

it symbolises movement, flow and human interaction. the effects of sunlight , movement and reflection are explored and brought together with reference to a shoal of fish.

artist in residence at nottingham trent university [ ntu ] - future factory

fiona is currently working on a collaborative, creative and virtual technologies project. it utilises digitally-based art and design technologies.

the expression of sound in physical and virtual form is explored focusing on natural bird song as a digital template. a future factory showcase exhibition takes place on 30th april [old chemistry building ntu].
